The Indonesian Government provides PhD scholarships to Indonesian candidates who wish to be enrolled in the Université Fédérale Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées. Based on their profile, candidates can apply to DIKTI or LPDP program.

DIKTI Program

diktiProvided by the Ministry of Research-Technology & Higher Education, DIKTI scholarships are dedicated for faculty members and  administration staffs who wish to pursue Master and PhD degree. The funding amount is adapted to the duration of study.

Components of funding : monthly allowance, accommodation, tuition fee, registration fee, return tickets, social insurance, research expenses.

Requirements : title of lecturers of indonesian  higher education institutions   or administration staff (public & private), holder of english or french certificates, letter of acceptance from the university preference.

LPDP Program

lpdpThe Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) is a consortium composed by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education and Culture. Their scholarship program is dedicated for Indonesian students who wish to pursue Master and PhD level.

The UFTMP is on the route to be figured on the list. However, thanks to its collaboration with LPDP, UFTMP candidates (notably those who are originated from top Indonesian universities) could still apply with a personal statement.

Specific requirements for PhD applicants :

1.     Maximum age of applicants on December 31 in the year of registration is 40 (forty) years old; 

2.     has finished the study in master program / master for applied science program; 

3.     has received the Letter of Acceptance from the target university with unconditional status from university listed by LPDP;

4.     If you do not have Letter of Acceptance (unconditional) (b.3), you shall have has the minimum cumulative grade point average (IPK) of 3.25 on a scale of 4.00, or its equivalence on other scales and have a non-expired official document (ets.org or ielts.org) to certify the English proficiency, or other languages as determined by LPDP:

for doctoral studies abroad, a minimum score of: TOEFL ITP® 550/iBT® 79/ IELTS™ 6.5/TOEIC® 750;

a.     candidates who wish to take up doctoral studies abroad in institutions using other foreign languages as their official academic language can submit instead the certification of that language proficiency

5.     Schedule of study plan begins not less then six (6) months after the closing of registration in each selection period.

6.     Able to complete the doctoral study within the established period, a maximum of 4 (four) years;

7.     has the official document of TPA/GRE/GMAT/LSAT (if applicable),

8.     has written a summary of research proposal according to the doctoral studies in the target university.

Components of Funding 

1. University Fees:

a.   Admission fees (at cost);

b.   Tuition fees, including non-language matriculation (at cost);

c.   Non-tuition fees, which can be used for financing books, thesis, seminar, publications, graduation (package, annual, accumulative).

2. Supporting Fees:

a.   Transportation fees from the region of origin to the target university and back (once for each trip, at cost),

b.   Health insurance (package),

c.   Visa (at cost),

d.   Living allowance (package),

e.   Family support (package),

f.    Settlement allowance (package),

g.   Insentive for the top university which fulfilled the requisites of LPDP,

h.   Emergencies/force majeure agreed upon by LPDP.
