PhilippinesIn 2017, the Université de Toulouse develops a new cooperation with the French Embassy in Manila and the Philippine government. The aim of this collaboration is to recruit Filipino students to do their PhD in Toulouse with CHED-PhilFrance funding.

CHED-PhilFrance Programme


The Philippine Commission on Higher Education and the French Embassy in Manilla provide financial support to faculty and non-teaching staff currently serving in a higher education institution, who wish to do their PhD in France.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Be employed by a CHED-recognized Philippine institution of higher learning
  2. Be a Filipino citizen
  3. Not be more than40 years old for applicants to Doctoral degree programs by the time you begin your degree
  4. Hold at minimum a Master’s degree for applicants to Doctoral degree programs
  5. Demonstrate strong academic record
  6. Demonstrate knowledge or expertise that would prepare them adequately for successful study and research in a specific graduate program
  7. Be in good health and of good moral character
  8. Have no pending criminal charges, and must not have been convicted for violation of any Philippine Law
  9. Fulfill all the Terms and Conditions of the grant, including a return service obligation.
