PIA systems

The tools of the Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir aim to support and develop Toulouse excellence in research, training and education, and the enhancement and transfer of technologies. Each of these programmes focus resources on strategic areas of research and innovation.

The Midi-Pyrénées companySociété d’Accélération de Transfert de Technologies (SATT - Accelerated Technology Transfer Company)  is a simplified joint-stock company founded on 25 January 2012 (Toulouse Trade and Companies Register, 3 February 2012).

The Antoine de Saint Exupéry Institute of Research and Technology is one of the eight state-approved technological research institutes under Investments for the Future.

"Laboratories of excellence" (Labex) is one of the Investments for the Future systems implemented by the government in 2010, working towards three objectives:

Two IDEFIs have been certified on the Toulouse site : " DEFI DIVERSITES " and " FREDD ".

Toulouse White Biotechnology (TWB) est un démonstrateur pré-industriel dont l’objectif est d'accélérer le développement des biotechnologies industrielles en facilitant les échanges entre la recherche publique et l'industrie.

The Carnot Institutes are public research bodies that make firm commitments to develop research partnerships for innovation in companies ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to major business groups, along with socio-economic stakeholders.

Le projet scientifique du site toulousain CAPTOR (Cancer Pharmacology of Toulouse and Region) fait partie des 2 lauréats nationaux de l'appel à projets "Pôles Hospitalo-Universitaires en Cancérologie -2012" du programme Investissements d'avenir.
